Score Criteria
What We Do
TooledByAI publishes independent reviews of AI tools for freelancers, content creators, and solopreneurs. We test every tool we review and score it against four consistent criteria: speed, accuracy, value for money, and ease of use.
We built this site because most AI tool reviews are either sponsored content, surface-level listicles, or written by people who don't actually use the tools. We do our own testing. We include affiliate links, but they never influence what we write or how we score.
Our reviews are written for creators who need to make a real decision about where to spend their money. That means honest assessments, including when a tool is overpriced or falls short of its marketing claims.
Our Scoring Methodology
Every tool is scored on a scale of 1.0 to 5.0 across four criteria:
